Read the last facility, not the headline
“In transit” on some networks means nothing. On this record the last event names a gateway, a scan type and an operator. That is the fact to start from.
Linehaul is supposed to be quiet
Airborne, on a sailing, or on an overnight trunk, there may be hours without a new scan. The booked window on the quote is the comparison, not the minutes since the last beep.
Customs holds are visible
If the broker has queried the file, the status is a hold. Adding documents through the portal (when signed in) is faster than opening a damage claim.
When the window has passed
If the last scan is older than the booked window and nothing new has posted, contact the desk with the tracking number. Include what you already tried. Do not create a second tracking number.
