Air freight
ULD build compresses. Use a carton rated for the weight inside, not the one the goods arrived in from a webshop. Void fill until nothing rattles. Lithium and aerosols are a desk conversation before packing.
Ocean
Humidity and days, not hours. Desiccant where metal can bloom. Crates need lifting points that match the packing list. Do not use a courier mailer as an ocean outer.
White glove
The inner pack is part of the service. If the booking asks for photo proof, leave a face of the carton clean enough to photograph the label and the condition together.
